When Santa Got Hacked and KSP Stepped Up ❤️
This holiday season, we had a little fun with a serious message.
As part of our recent radio campaign, Kevin recorded a very serious ad about a cybersecurity moment at the North Pole! Santa got hacked! And he let everyone know that Santa was still accepting Christmas wishlists, but to send them hohoho@ksp.ca. We expected to see toys, gadgets, and the usual Christmas wishes.
What we didn’t expect was a message that stopped us in our tracks.
A Wish That Hit Home
One mom wrote in on behalf of her family, and her wish wasn’t for toys at all.
She simply wanted experiences for her kids, moments they could enjoy together, memories they could build as a family.
It was heartfelt, honest, and moving. And it reminded us why we love being part of this community.
Turning a Wish Into a Little Christmas Magic
After reading her email, Kevin shared it with the team, and there was no question about what we needed to do.
We pulled together a Christmas basket, added a couple of gift cards, and made sure this family had something special to open and enjoy together.
Because sometimes, the best gifts aren’t things. They’re time, memories, and shared moments.
More Than IT
At KSP, we spend our days protecting businesses from cyber threats, keeping systems running smoothly, and making IT worry-free and predictable. But at the end of the day, technology is about people, and so are we.
This campaign started as a fun reminder about cybersecurity, but it turned into something much more meaningful. It showed us, once again, how powerful a community can be when we look out for one another.
To that family, we hope your Christmas was filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable moments. And to everyone who listened, shared, and supported the campaign, thank you for being part of it.
From all of us at KSP, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
