Infrastructure Modernization & Secure Disaster Recovery with Citrix Migration, Cloud Backup & Firewall

Before we partnered with KSP Technology, we had an extremely outdated infrastructure and equipment that wasn’t up to par. KSP replaced our server and put us into a Citrix environment, and kept us informed in their reasoning every step of the way. Essentially, they brought us up-to-date with current Technology. We were using tape for backups and KSP updated us to a cloud backup solution. They also made our business more secure by implementing a firewall, as we had no firewall prior, resulting in a far more effective and secure disaster recovery plan.

Hosted Server & Citrix Migration Eliminates Downtime & Boosts Productivity

Since we changed to KSP, our overall productivity has increased. They migrated us from our in-house server to a hosted server environment which has almost completely eliminated our downtime during work hours. They are able to proactively work behind the scenes to monitor our system and complete adjustments after hours as needed to maintain ideal performance levels. Also, with the hosted Citrix environment we now have access work wherever we go giving our staff the ability to work from varying locations or after hours.  KSP truly is an IT solution provider. KSP has been providing IT services for WestExcel for the past 5 years.  We utilize a Citrix digital workspace and Cisco phone system – allowing our employees to work productively between 3 offices in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Alberta.  Kevin and his team are professional, detailed and always willing to assist in a timely manner.  The Help Desk ticketing system allows us to submit and track our service requests on an individual basis, therefore eliminating the need for us to route our requests through a single point person in our office

Seamless IT Support Transition & Improved Server Uptime

Changing support providers is a big decision – particularly when you consider the implications to cyber-security.  Throughout the process, KSP Technology did an incredible job providing the information we needed, addressing our concerns, and answering our questions.  KSP Technology made a tough decision easy.  The transition has been smooth and easy.  I’ve stopped worrying about how often our server is down, because it just doesn’t happen now!  KSP Technology is always looking for ways to improve and I know we are well looked after. 

Now, close to two months in, I am super impressed with your people (KSP team). Issues are rectified quickly and efficiently with minimum interruption to our workflow. The transition to Citrix has been smooth and east. I can’t remember the last complaint I got from one of our staff regarding desktop support. (What a difference from our former provider!) And….. I’ve also stopped worrying about how often our server … is down, because it doesn’t happen now!

We have worked with the team at KSP for over a decade now. They have always served as our off-site technology department, providing all of our hardware, software, service and support. As we’ve grown they have always been there to offer technology solutions to be more efficient and safer, and accommodate not only a growing employee base, but new companies in multiple locations. Our systems are consistent, integrated and worry-free in terms of being current with hardware, software and, probably most important, security. We came under a cyber attack not long ago when, due to employee error, our system was compromised. With the redundancy and backup built into our system,  KSP had us up and running in very short order. We didn’t miss a beat.
