Does the Outlook Junk folder drive you bonkers? It only ever catches legit emails. Especially if you have other spam solutions. You may not even know you have a spam solution. If you are one of our clients, you do. If you are not one of our clients, contact your administrator, I bet you do as well. So how do we disable this filtering? It sounds like it should be easy, but its not. I however, have made it easy for you!
*Warning* This is for Outlook 2007 only. It does not apply to other versions of Outlook. If you require this for other versions, let us know and I will do a post. If you do not know what version you have, open Outlook, click Help, then click About.
- Close Outlook
- Download this registry file.
- Run the file. Click Yes on the popup
- That’s it, Open Outlook.
The Junk folder will still be there, however it is no longer actively filtering your email.
If you wish to turn it back on (really?) follow the above directions, but instead of that registry file, use this one.
